Privacy Policy
Birvera does not collect personal data. There is no account and no server. Birvera sends your sound and details nowhere.
What we collect
Nothing. The Birvera app does not collect, store or share personal data. There is no sign-up or account, and Birvera runs no server that receives app data. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting tools. Reading works without internet; the internet is needed only for purchases and the first download of the card-making pack (try airplane mode if you like).
Camera
Used only while you take a photo of a code. The photo is processed on your phone and is not sent anywhere. The same applies to a photo you choose from your library.
Microphone
Used only after you tap record. The recording is turned into a card on your phone and is not sent anywhere.
Your cards
Cards (PNG or PDF) are made on your phone. Saving, printing or sharing them is your choice; a file you share goes wherever you send it. Anyone holding a printed card can play the sound in it with a reader, so put on a card only what you are happy for its holder to hear.
Emergency card
The details you type (your name, your contacts’ numbers and a note you write yourself) are kept in the phone’s memory only while the card is being prepared. They are not saved on the phone, to iCloud or to device backups. Birvera writes them only into the card: anyone can read the plain text on it, and the rest appears when the code is scanned with Birvera. If you save the card to your gallery or share it, that copy stays in Photos (and in the cloud if iCloud or Google Photos is on) and wherever you sent it. You decide who gets a card.
Notifications
Notifications are optional and only you turn them on (Settings → Notifications): a reminder to update your emergency card, a note when your monthly free card renews, and a note when the card creation pack has downloaded. Notifications are scheduled on your phone; no data is sent. No server, push service or device identifier is used.
Backups
The app does not write card data to iCloud or device backups. If you save a card yourself to Photos or Files, that copy follows the settings of that app and of your backups.
Purchases
Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Birvera never sees your payment details; Apple’s or Google’s privacy policy applies to the payment. Your purchase status is read on your phone from the store, and your remaining codes are kept only on your phone.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
This website
birvera.com uses no cookies, analytics or trackers and loads nothing from other sites. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, for security and operation.
KVKK and GDPR
Because the app does not collect or process personal data about you, we hold no user records about your use of the app, so there is nothing to request access to, correct or delete. Deleting the app removes everything it kept on your phone. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
